How do Baby Gas-X® Infant Drops work to relieve gas?
Baby Gas-X® Infant Drops help to gently break down gas bubbles in your baby's digestive tract, making it easier for the gas to pass through his/her system and thereby relieving pressure and bloating.
How is Baby Gas-X® Infant Drops different than Gas-X for Adults?
While both contain the same active ingredient, Simethicone, Baby Gas-X® Infant Drops were specifically formulated for infants and are a safe, gentle and effective way to relieve your baby's gas. Baby Gas-X® Infant Drops contain 20mg of Simethicone per dose whereas Adult Gas-X contains between 80mg to 166mg per dose.
Do Baby Gas-X® Infant Drops contain Alcohol?
Baby Gas-X® Infant Drops do not contain alcohol. In addition, they are saccharin-free and contain no artificial colors or flavors.
Will Baby Gas-X® Infant Drops stain clothing?
The Baby Gas-X® Infant Drops formula is a semi-clear liquid that does not contain any artificial colors. While it should not stain your clothes or your baby's clothes, you may want to test a small, inconspicuous area of clothing to be sure.
Can I mix Baby Gas-X® Infant Drops with my infant's food?
Yes. In fact, you may mix with 1 oz. of cool water, infant formula or other suitable liquids.
May I give my newborn Baby Gas-X® Infant Drops?
Yes. Baby Gas-X® Infant Drops are suitable for newborns. If your baby is 0-2 years old, the correct dosing is 0.3mL. If your child is older than 2 years old, the correct dosing is 0.6mL. The dropper that is enclosed in the Baby Gas-X® Infant Drops package clearly delineates the above dosing, making it easy for you to know that you are giving your child the correct dose. Yes. Baby Gas-X® Infant Drops are safe because the active ingredient, simethicone, works gently to relieve your baby's gas symptoms without being absorbed into his or her system or bloodstream.
How often may I give my infant Baby Gas-X® Infant Drops?
All dosages may be repeated as needed, after meals and at bedtime, or as directed by a physician. However, one should not exceed 6 doses in a 24 hour period.
